Notification of Dealings by Directors

Biofutures International plc, the AIM listed investing company which seeks to establish, invest in, or acquire assets, partnerships, joint ventures, businesses or companies in Europe, Asia and the Middle East in the energy and utility sectors and their related infrastructures announces that it was notified of the following dealings by the directors of Biofutures ("Directors") on 5 January 2009 which were completed on the same day:-
Julie Pomeroy, Finance Director, purchased 400,000 ordinary shares of 1 penny each in the issued share capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), representing approximately 0.26 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. The purchase was conducted at 1.25 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this purchase Julie Pomeroy is now beneficially interested in 600,000 Ordinary Shares which represents approximately 0.40 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
David Long, Non-Executive Director, purchased 400,000 Ordinary Shares at 1.25 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this purchase David Long is now beneficially interested in 400,000 Ordinary Shares which represents approximately 0.26 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
Patrick Howes, Non-Executive Director, purchased 240,000 Ordinary Shares at 1.25 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this purchase Patrick Howes is now beneficially interested in 240,000 Ordinary Shares which represents approximately 0.16 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
