Construction Update

The Board of Biofutures has today been given a detailed brief by WS Bioengineering Pte Ltd ("WS Bio") and its consultants on the progress of the construction of the Refinery.
At the briefing, WS Bio has informed the Board that they will require more time to complete the Refinery and installation of the plant process equipment in view of interruption to the work schedule due to festive season holidays and inclement weather. The delay has had a knock on effect on the entire project as certain parts of the remaining construction works and installation have to be coordinated. The Board has been advised and has agreed to quickly make available this announcement as an update to the market that the commissioning of the Refinery will now take place in the fourth quarter of 2010.
