Genus plc
Director/PDMR Shareholding
Genus plc (LSE: GNS) announces that, further to the vesting of share options under the Genus Deferred Share Bonus Plan (the 'DSBP'), the Genus 2004 Executive Share Option Plan (the 'ESOP') and the Genus 2004 Performance Share Plan (the 'PSP') as listed in table A, table B and table C below respectively, a member of the Genus Executive Leadership Team ('GELT') sold ordinary shares in Genus on 6 October 2016 and 11 October 2016 on the London Stock Exchange to partly offset income tax and social security liabilities due on the exercises. A total of 10,000 ordinary shares have been retained by the GELT member.
The below notifications, made in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation, give further detail of the number of share options exercised and ordinary shares sold on 6 October 2016 and 11 October 2016.
