Genus PLC31 January 2006 Genus plc Issue of equity Application has been made for the admission to trading on AIM of 5,194 OrdinaryShares of 10p each in Genus plc ("the Company") on 30th January 2006. The shares were issued pursuant to the exercise of share options to an employeeof the Company under option schemes for which no block listing arrangements arein place.
