New brewing agreement
PDX (AIM:PDX) is pleased to announce today the signing of a new agreement with Radeberger Gruppe KG ("Raderberger") to install the PDX Wort Heater into its brewery in Radeberg, Germany during this financial year. The contract is initially for an installation for one copper and then for a further two coppers if the first meets agreed performance validation criteria.
Radeberger is currently the largest German brewer by market share, with 15% of the market. The Group is part of the Dr. August Oetker KG family business in Bielefeld and a strategic business arm of the Oetker Gruppe. The Radeberger Gruppe currently operates 14 beer sites across the country and produces over 9.2 million hectoliters per year. Radeberger's portfolio includes the famous Radeberger Pilsner, one of Germany's oldest and best-selling pilsner beers. Revenues for this agreement will be received during the next financial year subject to the installation meeting certain performance validation criteria. Revenues for this installation will be equal to the economic benefits and savings created by the use of the PDX Wort Heater over a three year period.
Commenting on the announcement, Roel Pieper, CEO of PDX said:
