Gleeson(M J)Group PLC10 April 2006 MJ GLEESON GROUP PLC (the "Company") 10 April 2006 Amended - Blocklisting and Issue of Equity The following announcement replaces RNS Number: 2067B issued at 12:48 on 7 April2006. The Company has applied to the FSA for the Blocklisting of 815,250 shareshowever the Company has only applied for 385,000 under the MJ Gleeson GroupExecutive Share Option Scheme (1991), not 385,250 as erroneously stated. Thefull text of the amended document follows below. The shares MJ Gleeson Group Executive Share Option Scheme (1997) The Company has applied to the UK Listing Authority for the admission of 40,000ordinary 2p shares, which were issued pursuant to the exercise of staff shareoptions, to be admitted to the Official List, and to trading on the London StockExchange. These shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of theCompany and dealings are expected to commence on 12 April 2006. The issued sharecapital of the Company following this announcement is 51,483,385 ordinary sharesof 2p each.
