Changes to Directors' Responsibilities

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11 Genel Energy plc ('the Company') announces that Stephen Whyte has been appointed Chairman of the Nomination Committee, George Rose Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, and Mehmet Öğütçü Chairman of the HSSE Committee.

Following these changes, the composition of the Committees of the Board have been re-structured and full details can be found on the Company's website at www.genelenergy.com.
