 Appointment of Non-Executive Director

and

Appointment of Chairman

Goldplat plc, (AIM: GDP) the AIM listed Mining Services Group, with international gold recovery operations located in South Africa and Ghana, servicing the African and South American Mining Industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Cross to the board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

In addition, the Company has appointed Gerard Kisbey-Green, who was appointed as acting Chairman on 27 September 2024, as Chairman of the Company with immediate effect.

John Cross had a long career as a Chartered Accountant and qualified Financial Advisor and has been consulting across a number of Industries, using his extensive accounting and business skill sets to provide analytical and structural advice to businesses and private clients operating in Australia and abroad. John has specialised in Acquisitions and Disposals and in identifying opportunities for business improvement.

Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1983, John has worked both in professional practice and in industry.

John Guy Cross, age 66, has not been a director or partner of any companies or partnerships during the past five years.

John Cross was a director of Boards and Surf Equipment Pty Ltd ("BASE") when BASE entered a creditors' voluntary liquidation on 30 June 2011. BASE was subsequently deregistered on 10 March 2014.

John Cross does not hold any legal or beneficial direct or indirect interest in the securities of the Company.

There is no further information required to be disclosed in respect of the above appointment pursuant to Rule 17 or Schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
