Filtronic PLC28 February 2008 FILTRONIC PLC DEFINED BENEFIT PENSION SCHEME Filtronic plc ("Filtronic") announces that it has reached agreement with thetrustees of its defined benefit pension scheme to cease contributions from 29February 2008 and fully fund past service liabilities with annuities to thatdate. This will require the company to contribute approximately £25m cash tothe scheme. It is intended that the scheme will then be wound up.
