Director change

Foresight Solar, the fund investing in solar and battery storage assets to build income and growth, announces Alex Ohlsson has retired from the board and from his position as chair of the Company with effect from the conclusion of today's board meeting.

The move concludes FSFL's previously announced succession plan and, accordingly, Tony Roper takes over as chair of the board and of the Management Engagement Committee. Mr Roper was appointed an independent non-executive director on 21 November 2024. He has 30 years' experience making and managing infrastructure investments, initially with John Laing, and then with HSBC, where he was the fund manager for HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited (now HICL Infrastructure plc).

Tony Roper, chair of Foresight Solar, said: "As previously announced, today was Alex Ohlsson's last day as a non-executive director of FSFL. On behalf of the board, I would like to thank him for his contribution over many years and for his guidance during this transition. We wish him well in his future endeavours."
