PDMR Shareholdings
Forterra plc (the "Company") was notified on 26 April 2018 that on the same day Matthew Clay, Managing Director, Bespoke Products and Darren Rix, Strategy and Development Director both of whom are defined as Persons Discharging Management Responsibilities (PDMR's) exercised share options over the Company's ordinary shares of 1p each ("ordinary shares") granted under the Forterra Deferred Annual Bonus Plan.
The options were granted as nominal (1p) cost options although this sum was waived by the Company on exercise. The number of options exercised also includes a dividend equivalent in addition to the options initially granted in accordance with the rules of the scheme. On exercise, sufficient shares were immediately sold to cover tax, NI and transaction costs.
No new shares were issued in respect of these transactions with the shares being transferred to the individuals from the Forterra Employee Benefit Trust.
