Reveals Planet Coaster and Opens Pre-Orders

Frontier Developments plc (AIM: FDEV) yesterday revealed its new Planet Coaster game for PC and opened pre-order sales during the E3 games industry trade show in Los Angeles.

Planet Coaster was announced in January as Coaster Park Tycoon. Planet Coaster will be available in 2016 for PC, developed and published by Frontier Developments. It is an all-new game in the spirit of the classic 'Tycoon' games and is intended to set a new benchmark for the genre.

Frontier has a unique background in Tycoon and coaster park games and is responsible for the award-winning Elite: Dangerous space sim. Elite: Dangerous was developed with community support, and development continues in parallel with Planet Coaster.
