Announces Elite: Dangerous for Xbox One

Frontier Developments plc (AIM: FDEV, "Frontier," the "Group"), a leading developer of video games based in Cambridge, UK announced that it will bring its Elite: Dangerous game to Xbox One the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft later this calendar year.

David Braben, Chief Executive of Frontier Developments, said:

"It has always been part of our plan to increase the customer base by making Elite: Dangerous available on multiple platforms using Frontier's Cobra technology, in addition to continuing to further enhance the PC experience.

A Mac version of the game will be in Beta in March, and we are delighted to announce today that Elite: Dangerous will be coming to Xbox One this year. "
