Empresaria Group PLC09 May 2006 Empresaria Group plc ("Empresaria" or the "Company") NOT FOR RELEASE, PUBLICATION OR DISTRIBUTION IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY ORINDIRECTLY, IN OR INTO THE UNITED STATES, JAPAN, CANADA, AUSTRALIA OR THEREPUBLIC OF IRELAND. The Company announces today that it has successfully raised £950,000 beforeexpenses, through the placing of 1,000,000 ordinary shares at a price of 95peach ("Placing Shares"). The Placing Shares have been placed with institutionalinvestors by the Company's broker, Bridgewell Securities Limited. It is anticipated that the net proceeds from the placing will be applied towardsa number of development opportunities in overseas staffing markets currentlybeing considered by the Company. Application for the admission to AIM of the Placing Shares has today been madeand dealings are expected to commence on 12 May 2006. The Placing Shares will,on admission, rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares.
