Empresaria Group PLC05 July 2006 Empresaria Group plc - AGM Statement 5th July 2006 At the Annual General Meeting of Empresaria Group plc ("Empresaria" or the "Group") held at 12.30pm today, Empresaria provided the following update: The Group has enjoyed a good first five months trading and the Board isconfident about meeting investors' full year expectations. As in previousyears, the Group is expected to generate the majority of its profits in thesecond half of the year due to the seasonality of a number of the Group'sbusinesses and in line with industry trends. The Group continues to focus on the development of its overseas operations togain access to high growth international markets and to create a stableoperating base to manage economic and market fluctuations in any one country.Through sector and geographic diversification the Group continues its progressin developing a broadly spread international specialist staffing company. Senior Management Appointment The Group today announces that Armin Preisig has agreed to join the Empresariasenior management team. Armin was until April this year a member of the VediorBoard of Management and responsible for many of Vedior's European markets, inparticular Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Poland, Switzerland and Scandinavia. Prior to this he acted in a similar capacity for Select Appointments(Holdings) plc. Armin's role will initially be to identify and help complete investments inmainland Europe with a view to moving to a combined operations and developmentrole over the coming months.
