Appointment of Chief Operating Officer and Directorate Changes

The Board of Elecosoft announces that Jonathan Hunter, currently Group Marketing and Business Development Director of Elecosoft, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. The Board also announces that Jason Ruddle, has resigned as a Director of Elecosoft and as Managing Director of Elecosoft UK Ltd, in order to pursue a new career opportunity.

John Ketteley, Executive Chairman of Elecosoft said

"It has been a pleasure for me to have worked with Jason Ruddle for a number of years, initially as an executive of Gangnail Systems Ltd, and latterly as an Executive Director of Elecosoft. We very much appreciate his contribution to the success of Elecosoft during this time with us and wish him well in his new endeavour. Jason Ruddle has assured me that he will ensure a smooth handover of his management responsibilities at Elecosoft UK Ltd and this is much appreciated.

"Jonathan Hunter has made a significant contribution towards the growth of Elecosoft in recent years and I congratulate him on his appointment as Chief Operating Officer. As Director responsible for Group Marketing and Business Development, he was responsible for establishing Elecosoft® as a leading software brand both in the UK and in international markets; he was also involved in negotiating the successful acquisition of IconSystems. He is now Chairman of IconSystems (Integrated Computing & Office Networking Limited) and has also been appointed Chairman of Elecosoft UK Ltd, which will ensure management continuity, pending the appointment of a new Managing Director.

"Jonathan Edwards, appointed on the 1st April 2010, will also retire as a Non-Executive Director at the end of his term in office with effect from 31 December 2017 and we thank him for his Chairmanship of the Audit Committee, his wise counsel and his contribution to our affairs during his period of office."
