Announcement by Edita Food Industries S.A.E.
To: the Shareholders
It was resolved to increase the issued capital of Edita Food Industries S.A.E. ("Company') from EGP 72,536,290 to EGP 145,072,580, by way of an increase amounting to EGP 72,536,290 funded from the net profits of the fiscal year ending 31/12/2015, distributed among 362,681,450 free shares with a nominal value of twenty piasters per share, which will be distributed to the shareholders of the Company in accordance with the resolutions adopted by the ordinary general shareholders meeting and extraordinary general shareholders meeting dated 30/3/2016.
It was resolved to distribute the free shares by way of one free share for each original share of the Company prior to the increase, to the holder and purchaser of the share until close of the trading session on Wednesday May 25, 2016.
The free shares will be distributed as of Thursday May 26, 2016, through Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry (MCDR), after issuance of the listing committee's approval on the increase.
