STATEMENT

EFG-Hermes Holding S.A.E. issued today the following statement:

EFG-Hermes Holding S.A.E. Chairperson received yesterday at 11:40PM a letter via email from a company named "Planet IB Limited" expressing interest to place a tender offer to acquire 100% of EFG Hermes Holding listed shares, in accordance with the Egyptian Capital Markets Law and Executive Regulations. As per the letter, "Planet IB Limited" has been established with a special purpose to complete this acquisition and will encompass a number of Arab investors and Egyptian bankers. The letter did not include any information of the acquirer, tender offer price, or any other additional information.

Moreover, any tender offers should be submitted to the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA).
