Eckoh PLC19 April 2007 19 April 2007 Eckoh plc (Eckoh or "the Company") Update on ICSTIS investigation and response to Press Comment Eckoh notes today's press comment in The Sun regarding the investigation bypremium rate phoneline regulator, ICSTIS, into the You Say, We Pay competitionon Channel 4's Richard & Judy show. Eckoh has been informed by ICSTIS that "the reports are incorrect and theAdjudication Panel which will determine the matter has, as yet, not consideredthe case at all, let alone reached any decision in respect of it. Properprocess will be followed and it is entirely wrong to suggest that any decisionhas been taken, either about whether the code has been breached or, if that wereto be established, what an appropriate sanction would be. ICSTIS has itselfpublished a statement and is pursuing the matter with The Sun and the DailyStar". A further announcement in respect of "You Say, We Pay" will be made uponcompletion of the investigation by ICSTIS. Also, Eckoh announces that further to the announcement made by the Company on7th March 2007 in response to press comment on the same day, ICSTIS haveconfirmed in writing that "no action will be taken against Eckoh with referenceto the allegations reported in the the Sun newspaper on 7 March 2007 about I'm aCelebrity...' and 'Soapstar Superstar'".
