e2v technologies plc ("the Company") announces that Anthony Reading has informed the Company on 11 June 2013 of his intention not to stand for re-election as a non-executive director of the Company at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 17 July 2013. Accordingly he will retire from the Board and the Committees of the Board immediately following the conclusion of the AGM on 17 July 2013.
The Company will appoint a replacement senior independent non-executive director in due course. A replacement Chairman for the Remuneration Committee will also be appointed in due course.
Anthony Reading has been a non-executive director of the Company for nine years, since its flotation in 2004. The Board would like to thank Tony for his contribution to the Company and his sterling work as both the senior independent non-executive director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of the Board.
