e2v technologies plc today announces that non-executive director and Chair of the Board's Remuneration Committee, Dr Krishnamurthy (Raj) Rajagopal, is taking a temporary leave of absence for personal reasons with immediate effect. Alison Wood, Senior Independent Director, has been appointed as acting Chair of the Remuneration Committee, again with immediate effect.

In addition, in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14 of the Listing Rules, Dr Rajagopal has retired as Senior Independent Director of Bodycote plc.
