Dewhurst PLC18 December 2006 Dewhurst plc (the "Company") Total Voting Rights For the purposes of the transitional provisions of the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company's total issued share capital at the date of this notice is 3,570,700 Ordinary Shares of 10p each and 6,281,198 'A' Non Voting Ordinary Shares of 10p each. The Company has 36,000 Ordinary Shares of 10p each held in Treasury. The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 3,534,700. The above figure of 3,534,700 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
