The Board of Downing Strategic Micro-Cap Investment Trust Plc ("the Company") announces that Mr Stephen Yapp, a Non-Executive Director of the Company and Chairman of the Audit Committee has indicated his intention to retire from the Board once his successor has been identified.
Accordingly, Mr Yapp will continue to stand for re-election at the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held at 2.30 pm today, 25 June 2019.
A further announcement will be made in due course regarding the appointment of a new Non-Executive Director.
