Huveaux PLC17 August 2005 Not for release, publication or distribution in or into the United States,Australia, Canada, Japan or any other jurisdiction if to do so would constitutea violation of the relevant laws of such jurisdiction For immediate release 17 August 2005 Epic Group plc ("Epic") Offer update On 27 July 2005, an £8.5 million bridge facility (the "Bridge Facility") wasmade available by the Bank of Scotland to Huveaux PLC ("Huveaux") for thepurposes of funding the cash consideration payable by Huveaux in relation to itsoffer for Epic. Further details of this facility were contained in theEquivalent Information Document which accompanied the Offer Document sent toEpic Shareholders on 28 July 2005. On 17 August 2005, the Bank of Scotland and Huveaux signed an amendment letterin relation to the Bridge Facility (the "Amendment Letter"). Amongst otherthings, the Amendment Letter will allow Huveaux to declare the Offer whollyunconditional, upon receipt of acceptances from Epic Shareholders in respect of51 per cent. or more Epic Shares. Copies of the Amendment Letter relating to this amendment may be inspected atthe offices of Eversheds LLP, Senator House, 85 Queen Victoria Street, LondonEC4V 4JL during usual business hours on any weekday (excluding Saturdays andpublic holidays) up to and including the date upon which the Offer closes.
