Board Changes

The Board of Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust PLC (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Arun Kumar Sarwal as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 February 2025. 

Arun Kumar Sarwal is a Chartered Accountant and has broad experience of global equities and fund management over some 35 years in the UK, Europe, and Asia. He is a Board Advisor to Tumelo and a director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of JPMorgan European Discovery Trust plc. His previous roles include CEO of Broadridge Fund Communication Solutions, Senior Vice President of SS&C Technologies, COO and CFO at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership and global roles at ABN AMRO and Societe Generale Investment Bank.

Arun will stand for election at the Annual General Meeting to be held in May 2025. There are no other disclosures required under Section 6.4.8 of the FCA's Listing Rules in relation to this appointment.

As previously stated, Jasper Judd and David Barron, who both joined the Board in February 2016 will retire as Directors at the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting in May. It is the Board's intention that Arun Kumar Sarwal will be appointed as Chairman of the Audit Committee in place of Jasper Judd at that time. As previously stated, Howard Williams, who has been a Director since April 2018, will succeed David Barron as Chair of the Company following the AGM.

It is the Board's intention to recruit a further Director in 2025 to bring the number of Directors back to five.
