Directors' Shareholdings and Issue of Equity
30 June 2008 Deltex Medical Group plc ("Deltex Medical" or the "Company"), the UK's leading haemodynamic monitoring company, announces that it has today issued a total of 413,746 new ordinary shares in the Company to certain non-executive directors and a former non-executive director of the Company at a price of 19.25 pence per share. This issue is as announced on 25 January 2008, having been previously conditional on approvals which were granted at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 13 May 2008.
In addition to the above, the Company has today issued a total of 538,279 new ordinary shares in the Company to certain non-executive directors at a price of 18.50 pence per share and to certain advisors of the Company at an average price of 18.70 pence per share.
The three non-executive directors named below have elected to take shares in lieu of a cash payment as remuneration for their services to the Company for the three month period ended 31 March 2008. In addition, certain of the Company's advisors have elected to take shares in lieu of cash payment for their services to the Company.
Accordingly, application has been made for the above shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. The shares rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company and dealings are expected to commence on 4 July 2008. Following the issue of these new shares the Company has a total of 100,359,629 ordinary shares in issue.
