Deltex Medical Group plc (the 'Company') was notified today that one of its ex-employees has acquired 900,000 ordinary shares of 1p each as the result of the exercise of 900,000 options with the exercise prices under the Company's 2001 Executive Share Option Scheme as follows:

- 400,000 at 20.75 pence each

- 500,000 at 18.50 pence each

Accordingly, application has been made for these shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. The shares rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company and dealings are expected to commence on 8 April 2011.

Following this, the total number of voting rights in issue will be 133,657,577.
