II. Statement of Operating Performance and Financial Position
In 2023, the Company realised total profit of RMB 32.369 billion, made an increase of RMB 2.604 billion, and 8.75% year-on-year growth. The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was RMB 27.389 billion, made an increase of RMB 3.663 billion, and 15.44% year-on-year growth. The basic EPS was RMB 1.1194 per share, made an increase of RMB 0.1497 per share, and 15.44% year-on-year growth. The increase was mainly due to the year-on-year increase of 14.015 billion kWh in power generation from the Company's six staircase power stations in 2023.
