Board appointment

James Cropper PLC is pleased to announce that Steve Adams will be joining as Managing Director of the Company's Paper business.

Mr Adams will take up his role in January 2017 and he will be appointed to the Board of James Cropper PLC. Steve will report to Phil Wild, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company.

Mr Adams has a strong commercial and business leadership background with more than 30 years' experience with diversified manufacturer 3M across Europe, with roles including Business Director for Display and Graphics, and most recently Business Director for Electronics and Energy.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Adams said "I am delighted to be joining James Cropper at an exciting time in the organisation's development."

CEO Phil Wild added: "Steve brings a wealth of strong business experience across a wide range of industries. His proven leadership will be vital as we work closely with our customers and continue to grow our paper business."
