Board Change

The Company announces that Mr Nigel Read intends to retire from the Company's Board of Directors and his position as Sales & Marketing Director of James Cropper Speciality Papers Limited ("JCSP") on Friday 2nd May 2014. Nigel has been fundamental to the development of the long-standing and successful relationships that have been built between JCSP and its customers. The Company is very grateful to Nigel for his exceptional commitment to the Company and its customers during the course of his career. Nigel joined the Company in 1981 and the Board in 1998.

Phil Wild, the Company's CEO, will remain Managing Director of JCSP and James Cropper Converting Limited ("JCC").

Mr Chris Brown will join the Company in the position of Commercial Director of JCSP and JCC on Monday 31st March 2014. This role is not a Board position.

Chris brings an extensive sales, marketing and technical experience to the role, together with a vast international network within the paper industry. He joins the Company from Favini, an Italian competitor, where he has worked for the past twelve years; the last five of which as

Marketing & European Sales Director.
