Board appointment

James Cropper PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Watson as Chief Operating Officer of the Company.

Mr Watson will take up his role in January 2014 when it is also anticipated that he will be appointed to the Board of the Company. The disclosures required under the AIM Rules for Companies will be made at that time. Dave will report to Phil Wild, Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

Mr Watson has a strong manufacturing background with more than 30 years' experience in the Industrial, Automotive, Pharmaceutical and Security markets. Most recently he was the Site Manager for 3M Personal Safety Division at Aycliffe and 3M Security Printing & Systems in Chadderton. In his most recent role he successfully implemented a number of turnkey projects, and achieved significant operational improvements by the application of operational excellence & supply chain optimisation techniques.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Watson said "I am delighted to be joining James Cropper at an exciting time in the organisation's development."
