Director Changes

James Cropper plc, the advanced materials and speciality paper group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lyndsey Scott as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 August 2019.

James Cropper also announces the retirement of David Wilks as Non-Executive Director. David will continue in office until the 2019 AGM of James Cropper plc on 31 July 2019 and will not seek re-election then.

Lyndsey brings a wealth of business experience to the James Cropper Board. Following degree and post-graduate study, Lyndsey has spent most of her career in multi-national organisations and management consultancy across different business sectors, most recently with International Personal Finance plc as Group Human Resources Director. She brings experience in strategy creation, planning and delivery of large scale cultural and performance change management and governance.

Commenting on these changes, Mark Cropper, Chairman, said:

In the past five years, Lyndsey Jane Scott (aged 57) was previously a partner of Hamilton Scott Consultants, an unincorporated partnership.

Lyndsey Scott currently has no beneficial or non-beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of 25p each of the Company.

Other than the information contained within this announcement, Lyndsey Scott has confirmed there are no further disclosures to be made in relation to her appointment under Rule 17 and Schedule Two, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
