Appointment of Richard Huntingford as Non-Executive Director

Creston plc (LSE:CRE), the Insight and Communications Group, today announces that with immediate effect it has appointed Richard Huntingford to the Board as Non-Executive Director and Chairman of its Remuneration Committee.

Richard has over 25 years' plc experience, the majority of which has been within the media industry. He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Boomerang Plus plc,Β the AIM-listed media investment group, a position which he has held since 2008. Immediately prior to this role, from September 2007, Richard was Executive Chairman of Virgin Radio where he oversaw the sale of the business to Times of India in June 2008.

Between December 2000 and September 2007 Richard was CEO of the global media business, Chrysalis Group plc. Richard joined Chrysalis as its Corporate Development Director in 1987 and was principally responsible for building Chrysalis's successful radio division. Between 2005 - 2006 Richard was also a Non-Executive Director of Virgin Mobile Holdings (UK) plc, prior to its merger with NTL.

Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG where he worked for 12 years. He also sits on various other boards including the Prince's Trust Trading Limited where he is the current Chairman.
