Calgary, Canada, Tuesday October 14, 2014 - Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited ("COPL" or the "Company") (XOP: TSX-V) & (COPL: LSE) is one of many businesses that is affected by the electrical fires in Calgary over the weekend. A loss of power and other major infrastructure items has closed a significant portion on the downtown Calgary area. As a result of this occurrence the company's disaster recovery plans have been implemented to restore access to COPL's communications. Until those items are restored the management of COPL can be reached through its public relations consultants in Canada and the UK.
