Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Coats Group plc ('Coats' or the 'Company'), a world-leading Tier 2 supplier of critical components to the apparel and footwear industries, announces that Annette Kelleher will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director, effective 1 June 2026. In addition, she will join the Nomination Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

Annette has more than 25 years of experience in the international industrials sector and was the Chief Human Resources Officer and on the executive committee of Johnson Matthey plc, a global leader in sustainable technologies, from 2013 to 2025. Prior to that Annette held a number of senior human resources roles during her tenure with Pilkington Glass and NSG Group (the Tokyo-listed global performance glass group which acquired Pilkington Group plc in 2006) and spent considerable time in Asia.

Annette is currently a non-executive director of Keller Group plc, where she also chairs the Remuneration Committee, and of the Remuneration Consultants Group. From 2014 to 2023, Annette was a non-executive director of Hill & Smith plc, and chair of the Remuneration Committee from 2016. She was previously an independent Director of Tribunal Services, part of the UK's Ministry of Justice.
