Significant Contract Win
Corero Network Security plc (AIM: CNS), the AIM listed network security company, is pleased to announce a major SmartWall® Threat Defense System ("SmartWall TDS") sale to a regional US service provider.
The order, valued at $0.7 million, provides protection against Distributed Denial of Service ("DDoS") attacks for the entire service provider's network, safeguarding both its infrastructure and its customers. The solution comprises multiple Corero SmartWall TDS appliances, deployed to protect more than 200G of connectivity and provide real-time DDoS attack mitigation, and SecureWatch® services for a one-year period.
The contract was secured following a successful Proof of Concept process.
Ashley Stephenson, CEO of Corero, commented: "Service providers are increasingly seeing the value of the Corero approach to solving DDoS challenges through 'always on', automatic threat protection and visibility as opposed to legacy monitoring and on-demand scrubbing solutions requiring manual intervention."
