Mondas PLC25 January 2006 For immediate release 25 January, 2006 Mondas plc ("Mondas" or the "Company") Directorate Change Mondas announces that, Peter Charles Waller, aged 59, was appointed as adirector and non-executive chairman of the Company yesterday. Mr Waller brings to Mondas a wealth of experience at a senior executive levelfrom a 30-year career in the software and services sector. His executivepositions in the IT sector include several senior positions in IBM UK and IBMEurope, managing director of Hitachi Data Systems UK and executivevice-president of Hitachi Data Systems Europe. He is also the non-executive chairman of four private companies, MIInternational Limited, Quillion Limited, Keypoint Technologies Limited and BlueCurve Limited (a company which was acquired by Mondas earlier this month) and anon-executive director of Biotrace International plc, whose shares are fullylisted. In the past five years, he has been a director of Xpertise plc and IvesDevelopment Limited. Mr Waller holds 100,000 ordinary shares in Mondas, subscribed in the placingcarried out in December, 2005. Mr Waller has confirmed that there is no further information required to bedisclosed under paragraph 17 of the AIM Rules. Colin Peters, who became chairman in August 2004, has stepped down from theposition of chairman but will remain on the board as a non-executive director.The board would like to thank him for his efforts as chairman of the Company.
