Two New Products using latest 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processors

Concurrent Technologies Plc (the "Company"), a world leading specialist in the design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer products, is pleased to announce the launch of two new high performance VME/VXS and VPX processor boards. Significantly, both new products utilize the very latest quad-core or dual-core 2nd generation Intel®Core™ processors announced by Intel®in the first week of January 2011. These processors offer enhanced processing and graphic capabilities, resulting in virtually double the graphics performance of previous generations.

Following the Company's strategy to develop and release products using the most advanced technology as soon as it is available, both processor boards provide ideal upgrade paths to current products, offering existing and new customers the opportunity to upgrade their systems to the latest processing technology.

Both of today's products have been developed to provide superior performance and features over previous generations of boards and are particularly aimed at the defence and security market segments. They are the first of a planned family of boards using this latest technology, with a further two products planned for launch within the first half of 2011. Extended temperature and ruggedized variants of these boards will be available in the coming months.
