Concurrent Launches Kratos: A Compute-Intensive Rugged Plug-In Card

Concurrent Technologies Plc (AIM: CNC), a designer and manufacturer of leading-edge computer products, systems, and mission-critical solutions used in high-performance markets by some of the world's major OEMs, announces the launch of Kratos; a compute-intensive plug-in card delivering more than twice the computing power of any prior product from the Company. Kratos is also one of the most powerful rugged computing solutions available today, delivering unmatched processing power, network efficiency, and cybersecurity for defence, aerospace, and industrial applications.

Built on Intel's latest Xeon 6516P-B processor (formerly known as Granite Rapids-D HCC), which, as a key design partner in the industrial sector, Concurrent has had six months early access to, and officially launches today, Kratos is among the first solutions of its kind available in a SOSA™-aligned 3U VPX architecture.

With up to 256Gb of Double Data Rate5 (DDR5) memory, and an on-board vRAN accelerator, Kratos sets a new standard for the processing power available in such a small form factor. To manage the heat generated by the powerful 145W unit, Kratos benefits from the Company's application of Air-Flow-Through (AFT) cooling technology.
