Concurrent Technologies Plc Product Launch High performance processor board

Concurrent Technologies Plc ("Concurrent" or the "Company"), a world leading specialist in the design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer products, announces the launch of its latest high performance 6U CompactPCI(R) processor board - the PP 531/06x.

The board augments the Company's existing family of 6U CompactPCI(R) boards and has been designed specifically to address the requirements of high performance processing within commercial and harsh environments.

It uses one of the latest families of dual-core processors from Intel(R)'s embedded long life roadmap - either the 2.26 GHz or the 1.86 GHz Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor. The combination of high performance data processing, a large amount of on board memory and a range of I/O interfaces makes the PP 531/06x suitable for processing demanding applications within the defense, industrial control and transportation markets. Commercial, extended temperature and ruggedized versions are also available which should further increase its appeal.
