AGM Statement
At today's Annual General Meeting of Concurrent Technologies Plc (the "Company"), a world leading specialist in the design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer products for critical applications in the defence, aerospace, telecommunications, transportation, scientific and industrial markets, Michael Collins, Chairman, will make the following statement:
"I am pleased to report that the Company's performance for the start of 2012 has been in line with the Board's expectations. Revenues from our core customers are resilient and those from product applications in the transport sector have been increasing.
Our solid financial position means we have been able to increase our investment into new product development, maintaining our position in the embedded computing market and underpinning future growth. Since the beginning of this year we have continued to supplement our design engineering capabilities in the UK and India. We have released 7 new products, 3 of which feature the latest 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processors and another of which is an innovative middleware product.
The Board is confident that the Company will deliver on its potential despite the increasing global economic uncertainty and challenging market conditions. We remain cautiously optimistic in our outlook for the remainder of 2012."
