ClearStar promotes Todd Shoulberg to President, Medical Information Services
ClearStar (AIM: CLSU), a provider of Human Capital Integrity℠ technology-based services specialising in background and medical screening, is pleased to announce that Todd Shoulberg has been promoted to President, Medical Information Services, with immediate effect.
Since joining ClearStar in 2007 as Executive Vice President, Medical Information Services ("MIS"), Todd has been instrumental in the growth of this business. Over the last five years, MIS revenue has increased over 110% to $8.3 million in 2018, accounting for 41% of total sales. In the first half of 2019, sales in MIS were 25% higher than in H1 2018. ClearStar has continually expanded and enhanced its MIS offer - from drug screening to clinical testing and occupational health, and developing its differentiated ClearMD mobile solution that greatly facilitates the test ordering and review process for employees. ClearStar has achieved integrations with all three major laboratories in the US so employees can use ClearMD with over 9,500 test locations, and the Company has established a total network of more than 18,000 medical test sites. This momentum is expected to continue with MIS remaining ClearStar's primary growth driver by service offering.

In his role as President, Todd will continue to provide direction and leadership of the MIS business and daily operations of ClearStar's Medical Review Office, which implements independent and expert scrutiny of laboratory results under medical confidentiality. He is also responsible for ensuring that drug testing is conducted in compliance with state, federal and local regulations.
