Board Changes

Glen (AIM: GLN), the solutions based provider of telecommunications services is pleased to announce the appointment today of John Anderson, 46, as an additional Non-Executive Director of the Company. 

John is a founding director of Rock Ventures Limited, a company providing practical support to high growth ventures. A well known specialist in entrepreneurship and new venture creation in Scotland, John is also Chief Executive and a founder member of The Entrepreneurial Exchange. A Chartered Accountant and a former partner at Grant Thornton, he has worked with many of Scotland's most exciting growth companies. He is a regular contributor to the media on issues facing emerging and high growth companies and was instrumental in setting up the Scottish Enterprise "Local Heroes" project.

John is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Strathclyde, a founding Global Scot member and sits on the boards of The Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust and Stirling University Innovation Park.

Glen also announces today that David Hewitt has chosen to step down as a non-executive director with immediate effect. With the Company's strategy now focused on the telecommunications business, David feels that he has now completed the task of mentoring the Board through the change from a largely IT centric business to a telecommunications focused group.

Graham J Duncan, Glen's Non-Executive Chairman, stated:

I would also like to pay tribute to David Hewitt who has chosen to step down from the Board. Although he was on the Board for a relatively short period of time, David helped steer us through the various changes that we made to the business earlier this year, to which I am grateful and I wish him well."

Mr Anderson was a director of Peak Scientific Limited from December 1996 to July 1997. Shortly afterwards the company was placed into liquidation.

Mr Anderson holds no shares in the Company.
