Planning Permission for 80-bedroom hotel at Parc Cybi, Anglesey
The Conygar Investment Company PLC ("Conygar") is pleased to announce that Ynys Mon County Council (the Isle of Anglesey County Council) has granted detailed planning permission for an 80-bedroom hotel at Parc Cybi, on the outskirts of Holyhead. The facility will also include a restaurant and bar, together with parking spaces for 84 vehicles.
The planning application was submitted in August this year, following the completion of a lease agreement with Premier Inn Hotels over the gateway site. Construction is expected to take approximately 10 months and is planned to commence early in the New Year.
Robert Ware, Chief Executive of Conygar, said: "We are delighted that planning consent has been granted for this development. Premier Inn is a high-quality partner and opening a new hotel in Holyhead will provide a significant boost to the town's economy, create at least 20 full time jobs and improve the facilities available for tourists on Anglesey."
