Contract Win
SEA wins £7m Anti-Submarine Warfare contract for South-East Asian Navy
Cohort, the AIM-listed independent technology group, announces that its subsidiary Systems Engineering & Assessment Limited ("SEA") has been awarded a contract to the value of £7 million by a South-East Asian Navy to provide Anti-Submarine Warfare capability on two vessels. The contract will commence in May 2023, and be completed by the end of 2026.
SEA will work in partnership with local subcontractors to install the new system, conduct training and ensure knowledge transfer to local partners and the end user.
Andy Thomis, Cohort Chief Executive, said:
"This contract is a significant win for SEA and will deliver a modern Anti-Submarine Warfare capability with lower size, weight, and power requirements than traditional systems, and with lower through-life costs. It also expands the Group's presence in the strategically important Asia Pacific region. Together with other recent contract wins across the Group, this contract further underpins our order book and enhances the visibility of future revenues."
