AGM Statement

Churchill China plc (AIM: CHH), the manufacturer of innovative performance ceramic products serving hospitality markets worldwide, will hold its Annual General Meeting at 12 noon today. At the meeting Robin Williams, Chairman, will make the following statement:

"Hospitality markets remain under pressure, and we continue to address those issues within our control. We remain confident in the medium term, and we are strongly placed for recovery with appropriate stock levels of value-added product. We continue to win new installation business across all our markets, albeit at lower volumes, and see strong replacement orders at good margins."
