CONROY GOLD & NATURAL RESOURCES PLC - Positive Slieve Glah Structural Study

PR Newswire

London, December 9

10 December 2014 Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc ("Conroy" or "the Company") POSITIVE SLIEVE GLAH STRUCTURAL STUDY * Slieve Glah area shown to be highly prospective for gold mineralisation * Structural Study at Slieve Glah identifies Gold Target Zones * Study highlights significance of the Orlock Bridge Fault on gold mineralisation Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc (AIM: CGNR, ESM: CGNR.I), the goldexploration and mine development company focused on Ireland and Finland ispleased to announce positive results from an Independent Structural Studyundertaken at its Slieve Glah target in County Cavan, Ireland. The study was carried out by independent consultant structural geologists, Dr.Francis Murphy and Dr. David Coller. The study showed that the goldmineralisation at Slieve Glah is associated with a major geological structure, the Orlock Bridge Fault. It highlighted the potential for a concentration ofgold mineralised faults and of gold target zones within the gold-in-soilanomalies defined by the Company, which are approximately 3 km (1.8 miles) inlength. The Slieve Glah area is located approximately 40 km (25 miles) to the southeast of the Company's proposed gold mine at Clontibret in County Monaghan. TheOrlock Bridge Fault undergoes a significant strike swing, or bend, at SlieveGlah. This has led to the development of a dilation zone which could holdsignificant mineral potential. This release has been approved by Kevin McNulty PGeo, who is a member of theCompany's technical staff, who holds a BSc/MSc in Geology and Remote Sensing,in accordance with the guidance note for Mining, Oil & Gas Companies issued bythe London Stock Exchange in respect of AIM Companies, which outlines standardsof disclosure for mineral projects. Professor Richard Conroy, Chairman commented: "The positive results of this Independent Structural Study add further evidenceof the gold potential in the Slieve Glah area and the entire thirty mile golddistrict in Ireland that the Company has discovered." "Slieve Glah is a very large target area and, although exploration is at an earlystage, the potential and size of the gold anomalies there is exciting."
