Agreement Signed with Tetra Tech WEI Inc. ("Tetra Tech") to Provide Technical

Services in Support of the Metallurgical Test Work Programme

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc (AIM:CGNR; ESM:CGNR.I), the gold exploration and development company focused on Ireland which plans to develop its first gold mine in Clontibret in Co. Monaghan, is pleased to announce that Tetra Tech have been appointed to provide technical services in support of the ongoing metallurgical test work programme.

Tetra Tech will review the metallurgical studies on behalf of Conroy and compile the metallurgical report for the metallurgical section in the Feasibility Studies for the proposed mine.

Tetra Tech is a multi-disciplined engineering and consulting firm which has been working in the global mining industry since the early 1960s and is at the forefront of gold mining expertise. Tetra Tech has a particular expertise in biological oxidation techniques. Tetra Tech carried out the Scoping Studies for the planned mine on 20% of the Clontibret gold target and are therefore already very familiar with the project.

The Pre-Feasibility metallurgical test work programme, which is already underway, comprises Comminution, Flotation and BIOX® Test work. The test work is being managed and executed by SGS South Africa (Pty) Ltd ("SGS") under the supervision and direction of Gold Fields Ltd ("Goldfields"). BIOX® is a well-established bacterial oxidation process. Gold Fields Ltd is a world leader in this environmentally friendly proven technology with a number of plants currently in operation worldwide including South Africa, Ghana, Brazil, China and Australia.
