Drilling Update

Roxi Petroleum plc ("Roxi" or "the Company"), the Central Asian oil and gas company with a focus on Kazakhstan, is pleased to announce that on the 14 April 2010, BNG Ltd LLP (Roxi interest 24.41%) has commenced drilling well 805 on the South Yelemes structure, on the BNG contract Area in the Mangistau Oblast, West Kazakhstan. The well is planned to reach a total depth of 2500m after 30 days and will evaluate Jurassic sandstones, south west of well 54.

Qualified Person

Duncan McDougall, Technical Director of Roxi Petroleum and a Fellow in the Geological Society, London, has reviewed and approved the technical disclosure in this announcement. He holds a BSc in Geology and has 25 years international experience of exploration, appraisal, and development of oilfields in a variety of environments
