New Order for Components Division
Clean Air Power Limited (AIM: CAP) is pleased to announce a significant order and long term supply agreement for its Components Division in San Diego, USA.
The order from L3 Communications ("L3"), which is worth $1,111,000, is for the supply of hydraulic valves to be delivered in 2009. In addition the long term supply agreement that Clean Air Power has signed with L3 anticipates total sales of $3,337,000, including the above 2009 order, between 2009 and 2011.
Clean Air Power has been a supplier to L3 for a number of years and the company is delighted to cement the already strong relationship with this important customer with this long term agreement. Following the January announcement of the $900k order from Exterran for the Company's Emissions Division the agreement represents another demonstration of Clean Air Power's ability to cultivate relationships with its customers and grow long term relationships and revenues from comparatively low bases.
Clean Air Power's Components division grew from its need to develop specialised components for its own core Dual-Fuel™ technology. The injectors and valves now produced incorporate a number of beneficial and patented features which have allowed Clean Air Power to become a tier one supplier to a number of automotive manufacturers around the world.
John Pettitt, CEO, said:
"I am delighted to have received this long term commitment from L3. Clean Air Power concentrates on developing customer relations and ensuring quality and innovation in engineering, and I am delighted that the Company is beginning to reap the rewards from this consistent focus. Following the announcement of the signature of the Volvo letter signature for development of its core Dual-Fuel™ technology in early January the positive trend for the company continues."
